Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven B2B Sales Manager to lead and grow our woven/raffia bag sales operations. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of packaging materials, a deep understanding of the woven bag production process, and proven experience in strategic sales planning, forecasting, and key account management. This role is responsible for maximizing profitability, increasing market share, improving factory capacity utilization, and strengthening client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales budgets and revenue targets;
- Identify and acquire new B2B customers in relevant industries (agriculture, chemicals, cement, food products, construction materials, etc.);
- Grow market share through targeted prospecting and competitive positioning;
- Promote the factory's capabilities, product range, and value proposition.
Margin Growth & Profit Optimization:
- Drive margin improvement through pricing strategies, product mix optimization, and value-added solutions;
- Analyze sales trends, price sensitivity, and competitor pricing to ensure profitable growth.
Inventory & Non-Moving Stock Management:
- Develop strategies to liquidate non-moving and slow-moving stock without compromising overall margin targets;
- Coordinate with production and inventory teams to align stock availability with sales plans.
Production Coordination & Capacity Utilization:
- Understand the woven/raffia bag manufacturing process, production lead times, and material requirements;
- Work closely with the production planning team to sell available capacity and optimize factory utilization;
- Provide accurate demand forecasts to support efficient production scheduling.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients;
- Conduct regular client visits, presentations, and business reviews;
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and timely resolution of complaints or quality issues.
Market Intelligence & Reporting:
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, pipeline updates, and KPI performance tracking.
- Provide management with actionable insights for strategic decision making.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Increase sales margin.
- Liquidation of non-moving and slow-moving inventory;
- Selling full or target factory production capacity;
- Increase market share in key segments;
- Achieve monthly and annual sales budgets;
- Maintain high customer satisfaction and strong relationships;
- Accurate sales forecasting and planning.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or related field;
- Minimum 5+ years of B2B sales experience in the packaging industry (woven bags, industrial packaging, PP bags, bulk bags, etc.);
- Strong understanding of woven/raffia bag production processes;
- Proven track record in strategic sales planning, forecast accuracy, and target achievement;
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills;
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational abilities;
- Presentable, proactive, and able to build trust with key decision-makers;
- Ability to travel for client visits and market development.
