Position Summary:
The Bookkeeper will manage and maintain accurate financial records, handle collections, and accounts receivable, and perform client outreach and follow-ups via email and phone. Proficiency in Workday, Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, and other financial tools is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Financial Records: Accurately record all financial transactions using Workday.
  • Accounts Receivable: Manage invoices, process payments, monitor accounts, and ensure timely collections.
  • Collections: Proactively manage collections, reaching out to clients for overdue payments via email and phone.
  • Client Communication: Send emails and occasionally call clients for follow-ups and to address any queries or concerns.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update financial data in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Support: Provide support for the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial management.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience, with specific experience in accounts receivable and collections.
  • Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Workday, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to professionally handle client communications.
  • Customer Service: Strong customer service skills with a client-focused approach.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with additional financial software or tools.
