Sales Manager Europe | 40 hours

Are you a driven sales professional ready to take on an exciting challenge? We are looking for a full-time Sales Manager based in Amsterdam. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to represent two global brands: a leading LED signage lighting company and a custom architectural LED lighting manufacturer. You will be responsible for creating sales opportunities and winning business across Europe from targeted sign companies, display manufacturers, and specialized distributors.


This is how your workweek looks:

Imagine starting your week with territory planning and coordinating with the sales teams of distributors; then, you engage in on-site sales calls, introducing new products and offering application consultations; midweek, you manage operational pricing, handle claims, and ensure collection targets are met; towards the end of the week, you participate in team meetings, track market trends, and prepare sales forecasts for the next quarter. Your ability to travel, plan effectively, and build strong relationships will be key to your success.

  • Break down annual business plan for the development of existing accounts in line with overall company objectives;
  • Efficiently manage time and territory to cover the customer base;
  • Maintain detailed ongoing customer records through CRM software, ensuring accuracy of account and contact data;
  • Build a strong understanding of the applications where the company's products provide the greatest benefit and value for the customer;
  • Track and communicate market trends, competitive offerings, operational issues, and opportunities on a global level. Exchange experiences and success stories within the global sales team;
  • Provide periodic sales forecasts for assigned sales territories;
  • Develop strong relationships with the company's customers, distribution network, specifiers, and influencers;
  • Orchestrate customer interaction with Finance and Quality departments as needed;
  • Perform other tasks as directed by management.


This is you:

  • Self-motivation, persistence, and ability to independently manage various activities;
  • Strong drive to achieve business objectives;
  • 3+ years working experience in sales, business development, key account management, or similar;
  • Competence in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Excellent presentation and written communication skills;
  • Strong problem-solving skills;
  • Proficiency in English (additional languages a plus);
  • Proven track record in the signage or architectural lighting industry is a plus;
  • Education in electrical engineering or electronics is a plus;
  • Preferred residency in The Netherlands (company will not relocate candidate);
  • Willingness to travel in EU for sales calls, trade shows, etc.
