A well-established, independent insurance broker in the Harrogate area is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded insurance professional with strong relationship-building skills and a passion for new business development.

The Role

You will play a key part in driving growth while maintaining high service standards. Responsibilities include:

• Managing a portfolio of commercial clients with excellent retention and service
• Identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities
• Conducting client meetings, risk reviews, and renewal discussions
• Working with internal broking teams to deliver tailored insurance solutions
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, insurers, and partners
• Acting as a professional representative within the local business community

About You

The ideal candidate will bring:

• Experience as an Account Executive or similar role within commercial insurance
• Strong technical understanding across core commercial lines
• Proven success in winning new business
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
