Position Summary
As a Sales Manager in the IT industry, you will have full responsibility for defining and achieving business growth targets, developing succession, managing a team and driving business outcomes. They set the standards of excellence for the companies methodologies and processes.
Core Skills and Responsibilities
All Sales Managers are expected to demonstrate in carrying out their role and in supporting the company vision, mission, values and goals:
- Manage and develop teams sales skills to achieve targets
- Support and develop senior team members leadership skills
- Effectively and accurately assess new and existing talent to identify and develop succession
- Develop Account Managers and ensure account succession
- Define appropriate operating rhythm to adapt to 'hands off' role
- Be escalation point for clients, candidates and internal challenges
- Take full responsibility for successful development and management of clients
- Identify and implement new strategy for business growth and drive to completion
- Drive growth by utilising full Allegis Group service offerings
- Drive operational priorities and hold team accountable to agreed behaviours and targets
- Create business plans to set annual and quarterly objectives and targets for teams based on strategy
- Stays attuned to business and industry changes, ensures own activities remain aligned to key objectives.
