Job Role:

The Sales Administrator will support the sales team by managing administrative processes,

coordinating sales activities, and helping streamline operations to ensure the department runs

efficiently. This role involves maintaining sales records, handling customer inquiries, preparing

reports, and assisting with the development and execution of sales strategies. The Sales

Administrator plays a key role in supporting the sales teams efforts to drive revenue growth and

enhance the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Administration and Support:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of sales strategies by providing administrative support.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, including customer data, sales activities, and transaction details.
  • Prepare and process sales orders, contracts, and other necessary documentation to ensure smooth sales operations.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and presentations for the sales team.
  • Support the sales team by managing customer inquiries and providing timely responses.

Sales Operations and Performance Tracking:

  • Track sales metrics and assist in the analysis of performance data (such as revenue, growth, and customer acquisition) to help identify trends and opportunities.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, summarizing sales performance and outcomes.
  • Ensure accurate data entry into CRM systems (such as Salesforce, HubSpot) and ensure all records are up-to-date.
  • Help maintain CRM systems and sales tools to ensure leads, customer interactions, and sales pipelines are properly managed.

Team Support and Communication:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth communication across different departments, including marketing, finance, and customer service.
  • Coordinate with marketing to align sales initiatives and campaigns with business goals.
  • Help organize and support team meetings, training sessions, and sales presentations.
  • Assist in setting up client meetings and presentations and ensure all materials are prepared in advance.
  • Customer and Relationship Management:
  • Support the sales team in managing customer relationships by providing information, addressing inquiries, and ensuring excellent service delivery.
  • Assist in handling customer complaints and ensuring their issues are addressed promptly.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and assist with client retention strategies.

Market Analysis and Reporting:

  • Assist in gathering market insights and competitor analysis to help identify opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare detailed reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.
  • Support the senior sales team in strategic decision-making by providing relevant data and insights.

Experience:

2+ years of experience in sales administration, sales coordination, or similar administrative roles.

Proven experience in managing sales-related data and CRM systems.

Prior experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, or other CRM platforms is a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot) and basic data analysis tools.
