We are currently recruiting for our well known and well established client for Gas Installer's & Service engineers based in the Cork area.

Overview:

  • Looking for both service + installs engineers 5 roles
  • Location Cork (Cork city ideally)
  • 50,000 - 55,000 DOE 
  • Package Pension (match up to 5% for 2 years, 10% after 2 years) Bonus 5-10% depending on a number of factors
  • Sick pay after 1 year service
  • 24 days AL + 2.5 company days
  • Big possibility of growth on install team as growing

About the Role

  • Service, repair, and safety inspection of all domestic heating appliances
  • Service and repair of domestic central heating and hot water plumbing systems
  • First time diagnosis and repair of heating appliances and system faults
  • Upgrade and installation of central heating system controls with smart technologies
  • Carry out a range of electrical safety tests on domestic heating installations
  • Correctly locate, install, and verify CO alarms to current gas standards
  • Carry out a range of testing with Combustion Gas Analysers including room safety
  • Responsibility for all aspects of central heating installation and customer safety
  • Generate, organise, and maintain company and regulatory documentation.
  • Participation in wellbeing, diversity, inclusion, safety, and quality systems.
  • Heating, electrical and refrigeration installation duties when required where qualifications apply

About You

  • You'll have a National craft certificate in plumbing, electrical, or refrigeration (or equivalent as specified by the RGII recognised previous learning scheme)
  • A driven individual with excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Aptitude for fault finding logic would be an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal and customer skills, with the ability to work with the general public and within a wider team with specific targets
  • A positive, safe attitude and approach to all work and training activities
  • RGII registered with 2+ years experience
