Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Solar Lead Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for compiling post-installation documentation to facilitate our customers in completing their grant applications and will act as the main contact for customers before, during and after the installation of solar PV in their homes or businesses. This role requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
Responsibilities:
- Compile all necessary documentation required for customers to complete their grant applications following solar PV system installation.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all documentation, including invoices, certificates, technical specifications, and any other relevant paperwork.
- Liaise with the installation team to gather necessary information and ensure timely completion of documentation.
- Provide customers with updates on installation dates and ensure customers are up to date with their scheduled payments in advance of installations taking place.
- Communicate effectively with customers to advise them on any additional information or documentation required for the grant application process.
- Compile all post-installation documentation including handover documents as required by the grant process.
- Stay up-to-date with grant application requirements and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Provide support to customers and internal teams regarding any queries post-installation.
- Assist with other administrative tasks and projects as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in administrative roles, preferably in the renewable energy or construction industry.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with grant application processes and documentation is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
