We are recruiting an experienced Business Development Manager in the Telecoms Sector to cover Cork and surrounding areas
The Business Development Manager will develop and implement new business strategies through sourcing, negotiating and closing new opportunities in line with company objectives. The role will also entail responsibility for the management of existing clients and delivery of agreed sales targets and KPIs.
Key responsibilities of the role
- Engaging directly with executive level decision makers in a wide range of commercial business sector customers
- Self-generating new sales opportunities as well as responding to sales leads created by our office-based teams
- Selling our product portfolio across your territory
- Achieve set monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Develop strategic understanding of our existing and prospective new customers including size, turnover, key stakeholders, and business strategy
- Work closely with product specialists (including key suppliers) and implementation team on all new customers ensuring their journey from prospect to customer is seamless and professional
- Using your strong commercial acumen to create competitive, compelling proposals for our customers
The experience and skills that we are looking for include:
- Minimum of 2 years sales experience, ideally in field or B2B sales
- Full driving License required with access to a car insured for business travel purposes
- Proven to be excellent at self-generating new business opportunities
- Proven experience of closing sales opportunities and achieving allocated sales targets
- Previous experience working within the telecoms sector (mobile phone, broadband, on premise or cloud-based telephony solutions) will be advantageous
