#10317 - Data Warehouse Modeller, 50k - 60k DOE

As Data Warehouse Modeller you will be responsible for the technical design and modelling of Data

Platforms across our customer base. You will lead analysis and design of various Data Warehousing and BI projects, adopting best practices from architectural design.

The ideal candidate will have extensive practical experience as a Data Architect/Data Modeller in several Data Warehouse technologies as well as experience using the latest Cloud technologies. We are looking for a self-starter who loves to continually work with new technologies, and deliver top-quality solutions that help our clients succeed.

The role will be Dublin-based and will be a mix of working from home, working at our offices in Dun Laoghaire and onsite work at customer sites in Dublin as required.

We are seeking a passionate, motivated self-starter with previous data modelling and design experience working on data warehouse projects and a determination to exceed our client's expectations.

You will take full responsibility for the delivery of assigned tasks on schedule and within agreed budgets.

You will liaise closely with the data engineer/development team. The successful candidate should have a full understanding of the data warehouse lifecycle.

Your Responsibilities:

• You understand and translate business needs into data models supporting long-term solutions
• You have hands-on experience in the analysis, planning, designing, testing, deploying, and administration of complex Cloud BI and Analytics environments
• You have awareness of emerging data warehouse design approaches and the potential future impact on data warehouse architecture
• You will provide strong technical direction to the Data Engineering team for the design and development of Data Warehouse solutions
• You have strong Data warehousing and Data Modelling experience cloud and on-premise including OLAP, Star/Snowflake Schemas, Dimensional Data Modelling, Fact & Dimension tables,
• Physical and Logical Data Modelling ensures high-quality data and reduced redundancy
• You can communicate clearly with business customers and senior leaders translating business requirements to technical specifications.
• You work effectively with technical and business personnel
• You can solve issues by coordinating across multifunctional teams
• You have experience with the full lifecycle of Data and BI projects

Your Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in Data Warehousing Modelling and Design, at least 2 years of which are in Cloud Modern Data Platforms
  
• Experience with Cloud database platforms on Microsoft Azure, AWS and GCP
  
• Prior consulting experience at a consulting or professional services firm beneficial
  
• Telco data modelling experience a distinct advantage
