Position Overview: As the Maintenance Manager, you will oversee all maintenance operations within the hotel. You will manage a team of maintenance staff, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and maintain the hotel's facilities and equipment to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance and support.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure the smooth operation of hotel facilities.
• Conduct regular inspections and identify areas for improvement.
• Prioritize and coordinate maintenance tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure compliance with Fire, Health, and Safety regulations.
• Foster positive relationships with other department heads to ensure seamless collaboration.
• Adapt to changing priorities and practices while maintaining focus and standards.

Ideal Candidate:

• Excellent work history from the maintenance sector in large properties (2-3 years ideally).
• Previous management experience managing a team.
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment and be standards-driven.
• An excellent knowledge of Fire, Health, and Safety.
• Great relationship-building skills with other heads of departments.
• Flexibility in day-to-day job demands, remaining focused when priorities and practices change.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Electrical and/or plumbing qualifications would be advantageous.
