#10335 - Maintenance Fitter, 45k, bonus, Bray

As a Maintenance fitter, you will install, commission, service, and repair equipment in the plant. You could work on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or computerised systems. Your job will involve either preventative or emergency maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Making scheduled checks on machinery and parts
• Finding and fixing faults and recalibrating instruments.
• Oiling and cleaning machinery and parts.
• Overhauling and replacing parts according to schedule.
• Responding immediately to machinery breakdowns.
• The work also involves fabrication of replacement parts using machine tools i.e. lathes, milling machines, grinders, etc.
• Components may have to be repaired or fabricated using welding, brazing, riveting and soldering techniques
• You could be indoors in the factory or production plant, or outdoors servicing equipment on site.
• You will wear protective safety clothing for most jobs.

Qualification:

Will be qualified to QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft - Mechanical Automation and Maintenance Fitting or Toolmaking or other appropriate Engineering qualification

Hours, salary & bonus

We currently run 39-hour week, 7:30 4:30, Monday-Friday we are flexible on this. O/T is paid at 1.5 times and we have regular O/T.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. 2-3 years experience.

Current pay rate is 45K per annum. Annual Bonus Typically 5K P/A.
