Our clients are looking to recruit a fully qualified Refrigeration Engineer to service a full range of Commercial Refrigeration & Catering equipment based in the Leinster area.

Responsibilities:

  • Position requires a committed individual with extensive experience in the Field of commercial refrigeration.
  • Some knowledge of catering equipment an advantage but training will be provided.
  • You will be responsible for field service activities, including the repair and maintenance of commercial refrigeration and catering equipment at our customer sites.
  • You must have excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers is crucial.
  • Proven ability to work on own initiative with a minimum of supervision
  • Service plant & equipment as detailed on schedules
    • High attention to detail, compliance and service report writing
    • Be proactive and take ownership of issues and understand systems.
    • Carry out diagnostic and fault finding to plant and equipment.
    • The successful candidate will be required cover out of hour/weekend callouts.
    • Must be flexible and cover other areas as required.
    • Full accreditation for refrigeration F GAS certs and craft certs, Full Clean License.
    • Van, Fuel Card supplied.

    Requirements:

    Candidates should have good technical knowledge, experience with the service and maintenance of all types of Commercial Refrigeration systems.

    • Hold C&G Level 3 or equivalent.
    • Must be F-Gas Certified
    • Be a trade qualified refrigeration engineer and have a high level of competency on the servicing of commercial refrigeration systems
    • Ideal candidates should a high level of competency in the areas of Service, Maintenance, Installation and Commissioning of Supermarket Refrigeration Systems.
    • CO2 experience an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
    • Experience with catering equipment would be a plus training will be provided also.
    • Minimum 4 years experience in the service and maintenance of refrigeration equipment
    • Ability to trouble-shoot and correct technical issues, in an effective and timely manner
    • Ability to determine the root cause of technical issues using proven problem solving techniques
    • Ability to work as part of a team and follow a call rota
    • Excellent customer facing experience with good interpersonal skills.
    • Holder of a clean full driving licence.
    • Flexible for out of hours overtime.
