Position Available: Group Payroll Administrator

Location : Slane, Co.Meath

Salary : 40,000

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual for the position of Group Payroll Administrator on behalf of a growing international organization. This role offers the chance to work within a dynamic payroll team, supporting the administration of payroll processes across multiple jurisdictions.

Regular travel will be required to the companys regional offices on a monthly basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of fortnightly and monthly payroll for Ireland, Europe, and the UK.
  • Collate and verify weekly timesheet data using the companys Time Management System.
  • Calculate wage payments accurately and resolve any discrepancies in collaboration with project leads.
  • Manage annual leave entitlements and employee benefits for staff.
  • Ensure strict adherence to deadlines for payroll processes and revenue submissions.
  • Collaborate closely with the HR department to maintain data flow and streamline payroll functions.
  • Process all new starters and leavers in the payroll system.
  • Address staff payroll queries and assist with biometric setup for new profiles.
  • Maintain accurate records and produce monthly reports and reconciliations.

Candidate Requirements

  • 35 years of proven experience in a payroll position is essential.
  • Payroll qualification or experience in payroll processes is desirable.
  • Familiarity with multi-jurisdictional payroll processes (European experience advantageous, training provided).
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Knowledge of employment legislation and statutory entitlements.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
