Fashion and Design Faculty Lecturer

The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education, engaging in cutting-edge research, and contributing to the creative and intellectual environment of the Fashion and Design Faculty. This position requires a deep understanding of current fashion and design trends, a commitment to student mentorship, and a passion for fostering the next generation of fashion professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective lectures, workshops, and seminars in various areas of fashion and design.
• Develop and update curriculum materials to ensure they reflect current industry standards and innovations.
• Provide academic and career guidance to students, fostering their professional and personal growth.
• Conduct research and contribute to the body of knowledge in fashion and design.
• Participate in departmental meetings, events, and initiatives.
• Collaborate with industry professionals and organizations to enhance the department's programs and opportunities for students.
• Contribute to the university's mission through community engagement and outreach activities.

Qualifications:

• A Master's or Bachelor degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
• Proven teaching experience at the higher education level, with a strong portfolio of work.
• Demonstrated expertise in one or more areas of fashion and design, such as garment construction, fashion illustration, textiles, fashion technology, or fashion marketing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with industry trends.
• Experience in conducting research and publishing in reputable journals is desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industry experience in fashion and design.
