Raise Miner

Position Overview: We are currently seeking experienced Raise Miners to join our dynamic team. As a Raise Miner, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently constructing vertical or inclined shafts, raises, and winzes in underground mines. This role requires a high level of technical skill, a commitment to safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Construct vertical or inclined shafts, raises, and winzes according to engineering specifications.
• Operate raise boring equipment and other specialized machinery.
• Install ground support systems to ensure stability and safety.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Raise Miner in an underground mining environment.
• Proficiency in operating raise boring equipment and other relevant machinery.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and plans.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work in challenging underground conditions and adhere to rotational schedules.
