About the Role:

Lead the technical team at one of Cambodias most luxurious hotels as the Director of Engineering & Facilities Management. One HR Hubs client is looking for an experienced and innovative professional to oversee all aspects of the hotels engineering operations, ensuring that the property is maintained to the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and luxury. This role is perfect for someone with a strong technical background and a passion for excellence in hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the maintenance and operation of all hotel facilities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the longevity and reliability of hotel infrastructure.
• Lead and manage the engineering team, providing training and development to ensure high performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, conducting regular inspections and audits.
• Manage budgets and control costs related to engineering operations, including energy management and utilities.
• Collaborate with other departments to support hotel operations and guest satisfaction.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and guest experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in engineering management, preferably within the luxury hospitality sector.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on training and development.
• In-depth knowledge of building systems, safety regulations, and energy management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Proficiency in engineering software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Khmer is a plus.
