Our client is seeking a talented MEP Engineer to join their team and oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in their prestigious developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Planning: Develop and review detailed designs for MEP systems, ensuring they meet project requirements and safety standards.
- Coordination: Work closely with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems with overall project designs.
- Project Management: Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems to ensure timely completion within budget and quality standards.
- Quality Control: Monitor MEP system installations to ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and safety regulations.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve any issues or malfunctions in MEP systems during and after construction.
- Cost Management: Collaborate with the Quantity Surveying team to manage budgets and ensure cost-efficient delivery of MEP services.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed reports on MEP system performance, modifications, and maintenance requirements.
- Sustainability: Propose energy-efficient and sustainable solutions for MEP designs to reduce environmental impact and operational costs.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as an MEP Engineer in property development or construction.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MEP design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit), and experienced in handling MEP systems for large-scale projects.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of MEP systems, materials, and construction methodologies, along with relevant safety standards and building codes.
- Certifications: Professional certifications (e.g., LEED, MEP) are a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
