Geologist

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Geologist with experience in gold mining to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in conducting geological surveys, analyzing data, and providing valuable insights to support exploration and production activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct geological surveys and mapping to identify potential gold deposits.

- Collect and analyze rock, soil, and core samples to assess mineral content and quality.

- Utilize geological software and tools to interpret data and generate geological models.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, environmental scientists, and mine operators to optimize mining processes.

- Assist in the development of exploration and production plans based on geological findings and market trends.

- Monitor and evaluate the performance of mining operations to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

- Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in gold mining.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, or a related field.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in gold exploration and mining.

- Proficiency in geological mapping, sampling techniques, and data analysis.

- Strong knowledge of geological software such as GIS, Surfer, and Leapfrog.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
