National Sales and Marketing Manager for Fast Moving Goods
Job Overview:
Our client, a leading company in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated National Sales and Marketing Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies, leading a nationwide sales team, and ensuring the achievement of company sales targets. This role requires close collaboration with key customer accounts, as well as overseeing operations, distribution, and brand consistency in all regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet organizational objectives.
- Lead and manage a nationwide sales team, driving them to achieve sales targets.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
- Negotiate and close successful sales deals with SD/KWS.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics, suggesting improvements where necessary to optimize team performance.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts, ensuring accurate planning and reporting.
- Conduct market research to identify new customer opportunities and potential markets.
- Provide timely and effective solutions to address principal needs and concerns.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing team and Principals to ensure consistent brand representation across all platforms and regions.
- Stay current with new product launches and ensure that sales team members are fully prepared to promote and sell these products.
- Oversee and manage SD/KWS operations in assigned areas, ensuring warehousing standards, inventory management, delivery, and operational processes are maintained at a high standard.
- Ensure the effectiveness of Permanent Journey Plans (PJP) and Monthly Cycle Plans (MCP) to ensure the team remains aligned with goals.
- Provide comprehensive reports to senior management and principals, analyzing strengths, weaknesses, and recommending business opportunities for growth.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a National Sales Manager in the FMCG sector.
- Demonstrated success in managing and leading a high-performance sales team.
- Strong knowledge of distribution and sales systems.
- Ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics to drive strategic decisions.
- Exceptional customer service orientation and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and team management abilities.
- Strong analytical skills and a proactive problem-solving attitude.
- Willingness and availability to travel as required.
- Bachelors degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency in both Khmer and English.
