Job Description: 

As a Blast Helper Mining Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of blasting operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the planning and preparation of blasts, including the setup and calibration of equipment.
• Monitoring and documenting blast parameters to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational requirements.
• Conducting post-blast assessments to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborating with engineering and operations teams to implement innovative blasting solutions and optimize productivity.
• Maintaining equipment and ensuring it is in optimal working condition.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in mining-related fields is preferred.
• Prior experience in mining operations, particularly in blasting, is advantageous but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
