About the Opportunity

A well-established specialty neurology and psychiatry practice in Fayetteville, NC is adding a Certified MRI Technician to its clinical imaging team. This is a direct-hire, Monday–Friday day shift role within a focused specialty environment where diagnostic imaging directly supports neurological and psychiatric patient care. What You'll Do

• Prepare patients for MRI procedures — explain the process, address concerns, and ensure comfort throughout
• Operate MRI scanners with precision, following established clinical protocols to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain strict compliance with patient safety regulations and aseptic techniques during all imaging procedures
• Collaborate with neurologists and psychiatrists to review images and support timely, accurate diagnostic reporting
• Manage medical imaging data through PACS — storing, retrieving, and maintaining records with accuracy and security
• Perform equipment safety checks, routine troubleshooting, and proper operation of MRI and related diagnostic systems
• Perform IV insertion and vascular access as required for contrast-enhanced imaging procedures

What You'll Need

• ARRT certification in MRI (MR) — required
• Active BLS certification — required
• Demonstrated clinical experience operating MRI equipment in a professional healthcare setting
• Working knowledge of PACS systems and diagnostic radiology workflows
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and radiology principles
• Proficiency in vascular access techniques including IV insertion
• Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, including those presenting with neurological or psychiatric conditions
