About the Opportunity
A high-growth outpatient, multi-specialty practice is seeking an experienced Clinical Director to oversee daily clinical operations across multiple sites. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on coordinating clinical staff (RNs, MAs, and certified technologists), improving patient flow, standardizing processes, and partnering with the executive and physician teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned clinical manager who thrives in a fast-paced, provider-led environment, brings deep knowledge of outpatient operations, and has a proven ability to build strong, efficient teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all day-to-day operations across clinical departments
- Supervise, train, and evaluate clinical support staff including nurses, MAs, and certified technologists
- Manage clinical onboarding and training for physicians, NPs, and PAs
- Maintain clinical protocols, policies, and documentation standards
- Ensure OSHA, HIPAA, and compliance adherence across all locations
- Collaborate with providers to implement process improvements and optimize patient care
- Oversee staffing schedules, time-off approvals, and timecard review
- Facilitate patient flow and coordinate changes to optimize efficiency
- Represent clinical staff in leadership meetings and implement directives from executive leadership
- Support expansion efforts including site launches, staffing plans, and provider onboarding
- Intervene in patient escalations when needed and support front-line teams
- Maintain EMR templates and assist with provider configuration
Qualifications
- 5+ years of clinical management experience in outpatient healthcare, multisite experience preferred
- RN, LPN, or other clinical licensure strongly preferred
- Proven track record leading cross-functional clinical teams
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, Medicare/Medicaid compliance, and managed care basics
- Proficiency in EMRs (eCW a plus), Microsoft Office, and operational software tools
- Ability to mentor and lead clinical teams through change and growth
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a high-growth, high-volume practice
