JOB DESCRIPTION

The Video Editor is a creative professional responsible for producing high-quality video content that enhances the clients eCommerce presence and ensures alignment with brand aesthetics and organizational objectives. With a keen eye for detail and extensive experience in digital video editing for online retail, you will play a key role in shaping the clients visual identity and driving customer engagement through compelling video content.

This role involves developing and executing comprehensive video editing plans, utilizing industry-leading software and techniques to produce high-quality product videos, corporate branding materials, promotional reels, and social media content, and implementing innovative strategies to enhance their visual content optimized for various platforms. You excel in communication, collaborating effectively with photographers, designers, marketers, and other stakeholders, and overseeing the end-to-end video editing lifecycle, from initial concept to final delivery. Your ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic eCommerce environment ensures the clients video production processes remain efficient, effective, and aligned with their strategic goals.

DAILY TASKS

  • Develop and implement competitive video editing strategies aligned with the clients organizational objectives, ensuring timely and high-quality content delivery.

  • Create and enhance video content for product listings, campaigns, corporate branding, and social media (including reels and company videos) using industry-leading editing software.

  • Collaborate closely with videographers, designers, editors, and marketing teams to understand project requirements and produce engaging visual content that strengthens the clients online presence.

  • Optimize video editing workflows by continuously evaluating and refining processes for maximum efficiency and impact.

  • Oversee the entire video production lifecycle, from concept development to final delivery, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with brand aesthetics.

  • Perform advanced editing techniques, including color grading, motion graphics, transitions, and special effects, to enhance video quality and visual storytelling.

  • Maintain an organized digital asset management system, ensuring easy access to archived video content for future use.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging video editing technologies, integrating new tools and techniques to keep content fresh and competitive.


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • With proven 1-2 years experience in digital video editing, particularly for eCommerce and corporate content, with a strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality work.

  • Proficiency in advanced video editing software: Adobe Premier, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and other relevant tools.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

  • Degree related to film production, multimedia arts, graphic design, visual arts, or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of video production processes and best practices for eCommerce.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • High attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all video editing processes.

  • Knowledge of current and emerging trends in video editing, motion graphics, and visual storytelling for online retail and corporate branding.
