About the Opportunity

OLYMPIA Recruitment is partnering with a leading multinational company in the food, beverage ingredients industry to recruit a Marketing Manager – Southeast Asia. This strategic regional role will be responsible for driving market expansion, identifying growth opportunities, strengthening customer engagement, and supporting commercial success across key Southeast Asian markets.

The successful candidate will work closely with Sales, Application, Product Development, and regional stakeholders to develop market strategies, accelerate pipeline growth, and lead impactful marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Market Growth

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities based on market trends and customer insights.
  • Drive customer penetration and increase market share through strategic growth initiatives.
  • Build and manage a strong opportunity pipeline to support sales growth objectives.
  • Develop territory plans and support commercial teams in optimizing resources and market coverage.
  • Utilize CRM systems to track opportunities and support effective lead conversion.

Customer & Market Engagement

  • Conduct customer workshops and market engagement activities to identify innovation opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry stakeholders.
  • Gather market intelligence and translate customer needs into actionable business opportunities.

Project & Product Management

  • Lead strategic customer projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Support the development and commercialization of new product solutions and portfolios.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Technical, and Business Unit teams to ensure successful project execution.

Marketing & Communication

  • Plan and execute regional marketing activities, including events, exhibitions, digital campaigns, and promotional initiatives.
  • Develop marketing briefs, business cases, and growth proposals for new opportunities.
  • Create customer-facing presentations, product collateral, and sales enablement tools.

Market Strategy & Financial Performance

  • Develop and implement segment growth strategies aligned with commercial objectives.
  • Monitor market performance, profitability, and business opportunities across the region.
  • Conduct competitor analysis, market research, and trend monitoring to identify growth potential.
  • Recommend actions to improve profitability and accelerate opportunity conversion.

Data & Opportunity Management

  • Analyze customer and market data to prioritize high-potential opportunities.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to ensure efficient allocation of resources and lead management.
  • Drive data-driven decision-making to maximize business impact.

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Food Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in regional marketing, business development, category management, or commercial marketing roles.
  • Strong understanding of B2B markets within the food, beverage, ingredients, FMCG, or related industries.
  • Experience working across multiple Southeast Asian markets is highly preferred.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to identify and convert growth opportunities.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and market analysis tools.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
