QA/QC Manager (food manufacturing)

We are seeking a QA/QC Manager to join a well-established food manufacturing company with a strong market presence. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to take the lead in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance in food production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and oversee quality assurance and quality control systems in compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Monitor and improve food safety management systems (GMP, HACCP, ISO, and other relevant certifications).
• Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.
• Lead and mentor the QA/QC team to maintain product quality and safety across all production processes.
• Investigate and resolve quality-related issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, R&D, and supply chain, to enhance quality performance.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of quality metrics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control within the food manufacturing industry (experience from flour mill plants is advantage).
• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000, ISO 14001, ISO/IEC17025, Halal, and other relevant food safety standards.
• Experience in managing audits, certifications, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
