About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Import & Procurement Manager to oversee procurement processes for both domestic and international shipments, ensuring alignment with company policies. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of import regulations, coupled with exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement:
- Manage the entire procurement lifecycle for the organization.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Guarantee timely delivery of goods and services to meet customer demands.
- Build and maintain ethical and mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers to continually enhance quality standards.
- Analyze purchasing trends and develop long-term procurement strategies.
- Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
- Oversee supplier contracts to secure the best quality, delivery, and value.
- Monitor supplier performance and evaluate the quality of purchased products and services.
- Execute purchase orders promptly to ensure effective delivery and uninterrupted operations.
- Request and review quotations and updated pricing.
- Handle supplier claims and follow up as needed.
- Monitor actual sales and stock levels, comparing them with forecasts.
- Stay updated with domestic import/export Thai statistics.
Business Development:
- Collaborate with the sales team to estimate Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) costs for new products.
- Oversee the registration and licensing processes.
- Handle sample requests when necessary.
- Estimate import duty and VAT values for the Accounting & Finance Department.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in procurement, import/export, or supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of relevant regulations.
- Highly responsible and reliable.
- Proactive with a problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Eager to learn and adapt to new methods and technologies.
