APAC Sales Manager (fragrance industry)
About the job APAC Sales Manager (fragrance industry)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic business and sales plan for assigned APAC markets.
- Drive revenue growth by increasing market share in Mass/Fine Fragrance, Toiletries, and Air Care categories.
- Optimize profit margins across direct clients and distributors.
- Set and achieve annual sales targets with a long-term growth projection (3-5 years).
- Negotiate pricing based on company policies.
- Lead and manage "perfume briefs", ensuring effective communication for potential projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams including sampling, application, evaluation, marketing, production, and commercial support.
- Maintain strong client and distributor relationships through regular visits and engagement.
What Were Looking For:
- A proven sales leader with a track record of success in driving sales results.
- Ability to manage team members and collaborate across departments.
- 7-10 years of experience in a relevant industry (fragrance, cosmetics, or related sectors preferred).
- A Masters degree in any field is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and within a team.
- French language skills are an advantage.
- Exceptional client management skills with the ability to engage with large customers.
