About the role:

This position is responsible for managing the media and PR activities. The role is based in Bangkok. Working together with the HQ in Europe, this role oversees the planning, handling, development, and commercialization of the company's digital (social) media presence in the region.

Responsibilities:

Content Management & PR

  • Planning & overseeing the day-to-day programming of digital channels in Southeast Asia (Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok & others)
  • Working with the local agency and team at HQ to develop localized assets and campaigns for digital channels in the region
  • Analyzing and tracking the performance and growth of digital channels
  • Building relationships with (sports) media outlets in the region
  • Creating a strong partnership-based influencer network in the region
  • Support with filming/audio production and editing needs for localized content shoots

Content Strategy

  • Focus on growth tactics, original content production, strategic distribution, commercialization, and platform optimization
  • Leverage content assets and platforms to create synergies across the region
  • Track, evaluate, and integrate industry trends and benchmarks to further optimize long-term performance

Monetization / Sales Support

  • Creating joint (digital) campaigns with partnerships or events teams in the region
  • Development of digital direct-to-consumer monetization opportunities

About You:

  • Strong experience in PR, Marketing, social media, and Communication management within sports & entertainment
  • Educational background in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Excellent understanding of Southeast Asian popular culture
  • First-rate awareness of digital/social trends
  • Knowledgeable and passionate about sports, both European and Southeast Asian
  • Proven experience in cross-country communication and activation strategies.
  • Exceptional work ethic with the ability to prioritize workload
  • Strong team player with a collaborative spirit and a focus on empowering others.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator, and video editing is advantage
  • Willing and available to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Fluent in Thai and English is mandatory, additional fluency in Korean, Indonesian, or Hindi is advantage
