Senior Accountant

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in accounting and financial management within an SAP environment, a thorough understanding of product costing, and extensive experience in financial reporting and analysis. This role will also require comprehensive knowledge of local and regional tax regulations and corporate compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management and Reporting

• Oversee the monthly closing of books of accounts.
• Conduct periodical reviews of the Balance Sheet and P&L statements.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.

Product Costing and Profitability Analysis

• Apply expertise in product costing to support financial planning and decision-making.
• Act as a business partner to the sales team, providing insightful product profitability analysis and reporting.

Taxation and Compliance

• Manage local tax compliance, including Corporate Income Tax, Withholding Tax, and transfer pricing.
• Stay updated on taxation requirements and compliance standards for Thailand and other Southeast Asian countries.

Corporate Compliance

• Ensure adherence to corporate compliance requirements for operations in Thailand and other SEA countries.
• Support audits and regulatory reporting as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounting and financial statement management within an SAP environment.
• Strong understanding of product costing methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience in profitability analysis and reporting.
• In-depth knowledge of local taxation, corporate income tax, withholding tax, and transfer pricing. Knowledge of taxation in other SEA countries is an advantage.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
