Job Scope:

We are looking to recruit a Children Registered Manager to join our team. As a Children Registered Manager, your primary focus is on fostering a nurturing environment for children and young people. As a Children Registered Manager, you are expected to build positive relationships, fostering strong bonds through shared activities, routines, and established behavioral boundaries

In the realm of leading and developing people, your responsibilities as a Children Registered Manager include operational management of the staff team, ensuring adequate resources in emergency situations, participating in recruitment, and providing effective induction. Additionally, you play a crucial role in setting targets, maximizing staff effectiveness through support and supervision, and managing various HR related matters.

Strategically, you contribute to the Senior Leadership Team, work on curriculum delivery, maintain the Statement of Purpose, and uphold high standards in care delivery. Your leadership as a Children Registered Manager extends to creating a positive ethos, guiding the team toward the achievement of objectives, and securing commitment from parents, stakeholders, and the community to the care home. Ultimately, you play a key role in ensuring the success and quality of care provided by the care home we are recruiting for.

Do you have?

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in managing a childrens home.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with children or young people with emotional and behavioral difficulties.
  • Registration with CQC, Ofsted as the Registered Manager of a Childrens Home.
  • Proven ability to promote the practice of working collaboratively in partnership with young people, their families, fellow Virtus Homes staff, and external agencies to effectively meet the needs of the young people.
  • Demonstrated skill in managing all operational aspects of a childrens home, providing flexible arrangements for children and families in a creative and solution-focused manner.
  • A track record of promoting team development and fostering effective teamwork.
  • Possesing a Driving Licence
