Job scope:

As a Registered Manager and vital member of our team, you will embody the role of an inspiring manager, dedicated to leading and guiding our team towards creating enriching experiences and opportunities for children aged 5-12. Drawing on your expertise and creativity, you, as the Registered Manager, will strategically plan activities tailored to each childs unique needs.

Your primary responsibilities, as the Registered Manager, will include empowering care teams with the necessary structure, resources, and motivation to deliver personalized support to each child in our care. Under your leadership as the Registered Manager, teams will ensure that every child receives the bespoke care they require.

As the Registered Manager, you will oversee all matters related to safeguarding, ensuring strict adherence to regulations, national standards, and best practices. Compliance with Ofsted Regulations will be a cornerstone of your work as the Registered Manager, with a continual pursuit of achieving an Outstanding rating and unwavering dedication to safeguarding the children and young people under your supervision.

To excel in this role, strong leadership skills are essential. As the Registered Manager, you must demonstrate the ability to work effectively under pressure, coupled with excellent communication, management, and leadership skills to lead the team successfully in providing exceptional care and opportunities for our children.

Do you have:

  • A management qualification compliant with OFSTED requirements.
  • Within the last 5 years, have worked for at least 2 years in a position relevant to the residential care of children.
  • Experience working with CQC.
  • At least 1 year in a role requiring the supervision and management of staff working in a care role (i.e. a position which consists mainly or solely of providing care for children).
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Care or an equivalent qualification or working towards one.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Children)
