Job Scope:

We are looking to recruit a Children Registered Manager for our clients new long stay childrens home. As the Children Registered Manager, you will work with various professionals, parents, and carers to ensure that children and young people with diverse needs are supported through a person-centred approach. You will be responsible for leading and inspiring your team to provide the best possible care, helping children reach their full potential.

The Children Registered Manager will oversee the running of the 2-bedroom home, working closely with Ofsted to ensure compliance with regulations and maintain high standards. Your role as the Children Registered Manager will involve recruiting and inducting a new team, delivering high-quality supervision, and building strong relationships with partner agencies and community organizations to improve outcomes for the children. You will also share on-call duties and may occasionally travel for meetings. This is an exciting opportunity for a Children Registered Manager to shape a new home and provide exceptional care..

Do you have?

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in the past 5 years in a role relevant to residential childcare, with at least 1 year in a leadership position.
  • Proven ability to create an inclusive service, addressing the needs of children and fostering an inclusive workforce.
  • Solid knowledge of OFSTED requirements.
  • Demonstrable experience working with children with complex needs.
  • Experience leading by example in applying safeguarding practices and policies.
