Job Scope:
We are looking to recruit a Learning and Development Manager for our client, a provider of specialist care for vulnerable individuals with challenging behaviors related to complex neurodegenerative and mental health needs. The Learning and Development Manager will manage resources and systems, develop strategic objectives, and provide feedback for compliance and improvement. Working closely with managers, you will address regulatory and mandatory training needs, create annual training calendars, and facilitate individual and group sessions.
As a Learning and Development Manager, you will handle the Apprenticeship Levy, ensuring communication with learning providers and meeting targets. Additionally, you will align leadership programs with business needs, manage external training contracts, and monitor compliance with mandatory training. Key responsibilities also include managing a training team, producing and updating training materials, and overseeing the training budget. You will focus on continuous improvement of learning programs to adapt to organizational changes.
Do you have?
- A full UK driving license and access to your own car (You will be based at Head Office but may need to travel to all services as required.)
- Experience in Health & Social Care, with a strong understanding of regulatory and legislative requirements
- A relevant Learning and Development qualification or proven equivalent experience
- Management experience with overall responsibility for your own department
- Experience in leading projects and delivering successful implementations
- Substantial experience in a learning and development environment
