Job Scope:
As a Clinical Care Manager, you'll ensure smooth service delivery, fostering professionalism and reliability to enhance staff performance and client care. Responsibilities include regulatory compliance, staffing coordination, quality monitoring, and record-keeping. Collaboration with teams ensures optimal staffing levels. Your role of the Clinical Care Manager focuses on feedback mechanisms, person-centered care culture, and maintaining high standards.
As the Clinical Care Manager, responsibilities include managing a caseload of complex clients, overseeing care packages clinically and holistically. As a Clinical Care Manager you'll develop, review, and implement care plans and risk assessments, supporting non-qualified staff. Engage with Clinical Commissioning Groups and Social Services, attending meetings as needed. Ensure staff competency through observations and evaluations. Maintain up-to-date systems and deliver clinical training workshops. Participate in peer supervision and meet NMC revalidation requirements.
The role of Clinical Care Manager is dynamic, and as the business evolves, your duties may adapt accordingly. Constant communication with your line manager or HR ensures alignment with evolving responsibilities and organizational goals.
Do you have?
- RGN qualification required
- Notify Registered Branch Manager/Operations Manager/Responsible Individual of potential issues affecting care quality or employee safety
- Identify opportunities for care and service improvement, establishing effective systems
- Maintain up-to-date systems and databases
- Conduct small group clinical training workshops aligned with NICE guidance and best practices, following professional scope and Routes training procedure
