OliOli® (means joy in the Hawaiian language) is a multiple award-winning contemporary childrens museum that opened to rave reviews in 2017 and expanded in 2022 by opening a branch in Doha, Qatar. Founded by a group of parents who are passionate about open-ended non-judgmental play, OliOli® entails 8 interactive galleries comprising over 45 hands-on exhibits.

Role Summary:

The Community Relations Executive is responsible for building and nurturing effective relationships with local communities and key individuals. The Community Relations Executive functions as a key ambassador for OliOli®, addressing the public audiences to invite them to OliOli® and creating meaningful and long-term partnerships. The role includes developing a strategy to identify communities in Dubai and propose and execute activities and special events that promote the OliOli® products and vision of OliOli® to be a community hub.

KEY ATTRIBUTES & DELIVERABLES:

• Developing strategies to make positive contributions to local communities while simultaneously raising awareness for OliOli® and its vision.

• Creating and maintaining a calendar of community events and activities at OliOli®, including workshops, expert talks and other communication opportunities.

• Building, organizing and executing community events and activities at OliOli®. Being the point of contact during the events to ensure smooth communication and delivery.

• Coordinating and collaborating closely with the Creative Team and the Guest Engagement Team to create new activities in order to capture new communities and to deliver joyful, differentiated, world-class and incredibly fun experiences.

• Attending relevant events, fairs, activities and community gatherings to represent OliOli®, to network and build strong relationships with key community members, renowned individuals, and neighborhood leaders, to identify opportunities for programs, events and activities.

• Serving as a point of contact for (virtual) communities, neighboring businesses and institutions and responding to all their inquiries.

• Drafting and distributing communications that promote OliOli®, in close collaboration with the Marketing team.

• Keeping an updated database for all the relevant target communities and key individuals.
  

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• UAE National with family book.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Outcome driven; comfortable working with targets in a dynamic industry/environment.
• Excellent project management, organisation and execution skills with solid attention to detail.
• Creative and out of the box thinking keen to discover new territory.
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills - interacting positively and effectively with a wide variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds by using a wide range of communication.
• Comfortable with public speaking.
