We're on the hunt for a highly motivated and conceptually driven Midweight Copywriter to join our dynamic team. This is an exhilarating opportunity to lead the verbal development and execution of social-first campaigns for a top-tier brand. You'll be collaborating closely with experienced creatives, taking ownership of projects, and even mentoring junior wordsmiths in a bustling advertising agency environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Verbal Conceptualization & Strategy: Lead brainstorming sessions and develop innovative verbal concepts and strategies for social media campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines, objectives, and target audience insights.
  • Copywriting & Execution: Craft compelling, concise, and on-brand copy for social media posts, stories, ads, and other digital assets, ensuring high-quality execution and adherence to brand voice.
  • Narrative Leadership: Develop and oversee the creation of engaging headlines, body copy, calls to action, and long-form content that resonates with target audiences.
  • Social Modular Content Expertise: Develop and implement strategies for adapting verbal assets across various social media platforms and formats, optimizing for performance and engagement.
  • Social-First Innovation: Champion the development of verbal ideas that are inherently social and designed to thrive on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube, staying ahead of emerging trends.
  • Brief Mastery: Interpret complex client briefs, translating them into clear verbal directions and ensuring creative output meets strategic objectives.
  • Research & Insights Application: Conduct in-depth research on linguistic trends, competitor messaging, and emerging social media platforms, applying insights to inform creative development and drive innovation.
  • Collaboration & Mentorship: Lead and mentor junior copywriters, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Feedback & Iteration Leadership: Provide constructive feedback and guidance to junior team members, ensuring continuous improvement in copy quality and impact.
  • Project Management & Ownership: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met, budgets are adhered to, and projects are delivered to the highest standards.
  • Trend Forecasting: Proactively identify and analyze emerging verbal trends, communication styles, and platform updates, sharing insights with the team and clients.
  • Platform Expertise & Optimization: Leverage deep understanding of various social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube) to optimize verbal content for maximum impact and engagement.

  • Proven conceptual skills and a strong verbal storytelling mindset.
  • Extensive experience in copywriting, content creation, or a related field.
  • Expert proficiency in crafting engaging, concise, and impactful copy for diverse audiences.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead copywriting and content projects from concept to completion.
