Digital Paid Media Analyst
We are looking for a Digital Paid Media Analyst to join our team as an agency resource dedicated to supporting the client's internal team. In this role, you will be responsible for utilising paid media data provided in internal dashboards, analysing campaign performance, and leveraging data learnings to help drive strategic direction. This position will require close collaboration with both the client's internal team and agency teams to ensure data-driven decision-making and optimal campaign execution.
Requirements:
- Analyse paid media data from client-provided dashboards to understand campaign performance and the primary drivers of key metrics.
- Provide actionable insights from data to drive campaign optimisation and strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with the client's internal marketing team to align reporting insights with campaign objectives.
- Ensure data is effectively used to guide adjustments in bid management, targeting, and ad copy testing.
- Support the internal team by delivering data-driven recommendations for budget allocation and channel performance improvements.
- Prepare and present performance reports, highlighting trends, successes, and opportunities for optimization.
- Stay current with industry trends and changes in platform algorithms to ensure that strategies remain competitive and aligned with best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Data Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in paid media analysis, preferably in an agency environment.
- Strong knowledge of paid media platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads) and analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
- Proven experience in using dashboards and reporting tools to extract actionable insights.
- Expertise in campaign optimization based on data analysis and performance metrics.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to synthesize large sets of data into meaningful insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate data findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Desired Skills:
- Experience collaborating with in-house teams and external agencies.
- Proficiency in dashboard and data visualization tools such as Google Data Studio, Power BI, or Tableau (Domo would be an advantage).
- Advanced Excel skills for custom reporting and analysis.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to client needs dynamically.
