We are looking for a:
Motion Graphics Designer
We are seeking a highly creative and skilled Motion Graphics Designer with a passion for pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling. This individual will be a master of transforming static designs into compelling animations, breathing life into brand narratives across a variety of digital platforms, with a focus on content rollout and emerging technologies. This role offers the exciting opportunity to explore WebGL, Mixed Reality (AR/VR), and product design, expanding the reach and impact of our creative work. Experience within the financial industry is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, design, and animate compelling motion graphics for a variety of digital platforms, including social media, websites, email campaigns, presentations, and emerging technologies like AR/VR experiences.
- Collaborate with creative teams to understand project briefs, target audiences, and desired outcomes, translating static visuals into dynamic animations for seamless content rollout.
- Develop storyboards and animatics to visualise animation sequences and ensure smooth transitions and engaging narratives across different media.
- Create 2D and/or 3D animations, utilising relevant software and techniques, including WebGL, to produce high-quality, visually stunning motion graphics.
- Explore and experiment with Mixed Reality (AR/VR) applications, integrating animation into immersive experiences and product design visualisations (Incl. Filters).
- Optimise animations for various platforms and devices, ensuring seamless playback and optimal file sizes for efficient content rollout.
- Maintain a strong understanding of motion design principles, including timing, pacing, composition, and visual storytelling techniques, adapting them to new and emerging technologies.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in motion graphics, animation, WebGL, Mixed Reality, and product design visualisation.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment, providing constructive feedback and contributing to a positive and productive workflow.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines efficiently, ensuring smooth content rollout.
Software Requirements
- Expert proficiency in After Effects.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is required.
- Proficiency in Blender (or equivalent 3D software) is highly desirable.
- Experience with WebGL frameworks (e.g., Three.js, Babylon.js) is a strong advantage.
- Experience with AR/VR development platforms (e.g., A-Frame, 8thWall, SparkAR, Unreal Engine) is a plus.
- Experience with other animation and compositing software is welcome.
