HR Administrator

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join our team. This role is responsible for managing a wide range of HR administrative tasks, including management of the freelancer process, onboarding and offboarding of employee leave administration, and general HR support. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to accuracy.

Responsibilities:

Freelancer Management:

  • Manage the entire freelancer lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding.
  • Generate contracts, manage onboarding documentation, and share information with payroll.
  • Engaging Business Technology with regard to systems access for freelancers.
  • Follow-up on freelancer invoices and timesheets.
  • Ensure completion of mandatory WPP courses for long-term freelancers.

Offboarding:

  • Manage the offboarding process for permanent employees & freelancers.
  • Initiate system terminations and access revocations.
  • Manage the return of company assets.
  • Prepare certificates of service.

Leave Administration:

  • Conduct final leave approvals on the automated leave system (ESS).
  • Assist employees with ad hoc leave queries.

General HR Support:

  • Assist with new hire orientation and first-day logistics.
  • Ensure new joiners have the necessary equipment, access, and resources on their first day.
  • Prepare long service anniversary and birthday/anniversary communications.
  • Resolve technical issues for system users by engaging with Business Technology and WPP IT.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Tertiary Qualification in Human Resources / Industrial Psychology
  • 1 2 years proven experience as an HR Administrator
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
