We are looking for a:

Snr Social Media Manager

Our Social Media Manager is an organised individual who can self-manage, drive tasks, and follow-up with relevant parties to meet deadlines and achieve their goals.

This is a client-facing role that requires the candidate to possess a personable character that contributes towards a healthy team dynamic and a highly professional client relationship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience with working on social media platforms is crucial. This includes but is not limited to: Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and any other emerging social media platforms or new in-app features from the existing platforms.
  • Along with thoroughly understanding social media platforms, the candidate should:
    • Have experience and confidence using content management tools, including reporting natively on these platforms to suggest ideas on how to grow performance metrics.
    • Be able to plan and facilitate live event coverage for virtual (live streams) and in-person (reporting/live-tweeting) events.
    • Eye out opportunities for tactical engagement, engaging with the community, and facilitating competition fulfilment.
    • Planning and rolling-out social media marketing efforts to support campaigns.
  • The Social & Content team is an essential support to the Client Engagement, Traffic, Creative, Strategy and Data departments, and as such, the Senior Social Media Manager should be able to share insights and knowledge about social media best practices, whether proactively or as requested.
  • Our team works with agency partners for influencer marketing, sponsorship, community management, paid media, blog & podcast, and production. Where needed, the candidate must plug into the tasks delegated and contribute meaningfully to the ways of working and final creative output with these agency partners.
  • This is a client-facing role that requires the candidate to possess a personable character that contributes towards a healthy team dynamic and a highly professional client relationship.
  • The Social Media Manager will troubleshoot any foreseeable challenges to the Content Lead as they arise.
