Onsite AV Lead Technician

Job description:

OfficePro, Inc, a Washington DC-based technical training and staffing company, is in need of One (1) On-Site Audio-Visual Technician to assist our team locally in the Houston, TX area with AV conference room setups and end-user meeting support.

This is a 3 MONTH Lead Contract Opportunity beginning October 6 - December 31, 2025

Monday - Friday

7:00 am - 4:00 pm

Technician Required Experience:

• Experience with DSP's, BiAMP/AMX - ability to troubleshoot and firmware update
• Go-Getter Energy is a priority working with end users/clients
• End-User White glove support of live event and commercial meetings
• Experience with Crestron, Extron, or similar VTC hardware
• Firmware updates and break/fix ability of control programs (AMX / Crestron/Firmware)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Teams or other Meeting software (Cisco Webex, Zoom, etc).

Onsite Duties Include:

• Break/Fix/Maintenance
• Preventative maintenance tasks to help maintain customer spaces including, but not limited to testing/repairing cables, testing/repairing various hardware components
• Ensure all equipment is shut down and secured for next business day
• Review schedules for next day requests to ensure equipment is operational
• Ensure all microphones are fully charged and operational prior to meeting starts
• Connect Audio-video conference calls
• Knowledge of modern meeting conference room setups and video conference room technologies is required
