Audio Visual Senior Technician - Nashville, TN

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Audio-Visual Technician to join our dynamic team. Your role will harness your expertise in smart home technology and commercial AV integration & troubleshooting while engaging with clients to resolve issues and finding solutions. This position will be working for our Regional Operation Support Center reporting to our Support Center Manager as well as roving in the field for onsite Field Service Call support

Responsibilities

• Provide remote support and system monitoring for clients throughout the US
• Provide in person troubleshooting support and resolution of onsite AV software and hardware equipment in a residential and commercial AV Setting
• Proactively address system issues as they arise
• Perform service tasks in an efficient and quality conscious manner including, but are not limited to:
• Responding to client requests via phone/email, System Checks, & Client Check-in Calls
• Communicate proper steps and best practices to the client for use of AV & Control system
• Remotely and in person perform preventative maintenance of client systems (Via provided service tools)
• Perform remote and in person installation of control programs (Control4/ Lutron / Crestron / Q-SYS) Firmware upload and download
• Test integrated systems and components via remote access as well as in person

Experience Required:

• Knowledge of Control systems (Control4 / Lutron / Crestron / Q-SYS) make basic code changes and troubleshooting
• Troubleshooting of AV Control Systems in both a commercial and residential environment
• Experience with DSP troubleshooting and audio tracing (i.e. Biamp, AMX, etc.)
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with unified communications such as Webex, MS Teams and Zoom.
• · Minimum 1-3 years AV Industry Experience in both a commercial and residential technical role
• Strong computer skills on both Mac and PC with knowledge of Windows applications, Microsoft Office, VPN access and web applications.
• Knowledge of standard networking practices, configurations, and functions
