We are looking for an HR Coordinator to join our Human Resources/Administration team. The duties of this job require a high degree of specialized expertise and skill in maintaining established standards of quality and accuracy. The position is expected to cooperate, support colleagues professionally, and contribute to the organization. He/she shall hold high ethical standards, act like a role model, and lead by example. The successful candidate must possess a business-minded disposition and must be service-oriented regarding external and internal customers, while focusing on the team.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

The position supports the Human Resources Administration department in all personnel management areas including compensation and benefits administration, government compliance, employee engagement, and general administrative services.

TASKS:

The HR Coordinator position ---

  • Ensures adherence to applicable laws and company regulations with regard to salary and benefits policies, and the accuracy of the monthly payroll process
  • Prepares and maintains government compliance reports and processes
  • Assists in government audits focusing on general labor standards and occupational health and safety standards.
  • Maintains and ensures complete and updated employee records according to policy and legal requirements (medical results, contracts, disciplinary and salary records, etc.)
  • Initiates and assists employees pertaining to health and safety activities in coordination with Safety Officers
  • Serves as overall responsible for all office/building maintenance activities (e.g. repair, coordination, etc)
  • Responsible for matters concerning engagement activities
  • Implements employee well-being activities and prepares relevant reports
  • Ensures all employees comply with all company policies and local laws and regulations
  • Acts as point of contact for all employee queries
  • Handles employee travel arrangements, from preparing visa documentary requirements to arranging insurance, flights and hotel bookings
  • Organizes and performs administrative requirements for Manila office visitors (e.g., hotel, transportation, and other assistance related to their visit)
  • Supervises outsourced personnel assigned to the Manila office
  • Monitors and supervises driver requests for employee and visitor transportation and company vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Prepares payment requests related to matters for the HR department (e.g., Basware encoding, processing of RFP)
  • Prepares reports, presentation materials, and other documents, as requested
  • Performs other relevant tasks as may be assigned by superior

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in psychology, Human Resources or Management with an HR specialization
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience in Human Resources
  • Knowledge of labor regulations
  • Demonstrated proficiency in HR systems and other databases
  • Proven experience in a payroll position in a fast-paced environment required
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft tools including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Effective communicator (spoken and written) at all levels
  • Strong ethics and reliability
  • Works well under pressure, takes ownership of work and ensures exceptional follow-through
  • Able to multitask and work independently as well as part of a team
