SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
Job Summary A social media manager develops and executes social media strategies to build brand awareness, engage audiences, and drive business objectives across various social platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business goals
- Create, curate, and schedule engaging content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
- Monitor social media channels and respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely manner
- Analyze performance metrics and prepare regular reports on social media ROI and engagement
- Stay current with social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams to ensure brand consistency
- Manage social media advertising campaigns and budgets
- Build and maintain relationships with influencers and brand partners
- Handle crisis communication and reputation management on social platforms
- Conduct competitor analysis and market research
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 2-3 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing
- Proficiency with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social)
- Strong understanding of social media analytics and advertising platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creative mindset with attention to detail
- Knowledge of graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus
Preferred Skills
- Experience with paid social advertising
- Photography and basic video editing skills
- Understanding of SEO and content marketing principles
- Crisis management experience
