Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer with expertise in React Native, PHP, and cloud platforms like Digital Ocean. In this role, you will develop and maintain web and mobile applications, ensuring smooth integration across the stack. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create high-quality, scalable solutions that empower users to understand if a food aligns with their dietary needs and goals.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using React Native, PHP, and other relevant technologies.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality products.
• Design and implement APIs and integrate with third-party services.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
• Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms such as Digital Ocean.
• Debug and resolve technical issues across the stack.
• Write clean, maintainable code, following best practices in version control, testing, and CI/CD.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, bringing innovative ideas to the team.

Job Requirements

• Great English proficiency (B2+ Written and spoken)
• 4+ years of experience as Full Stack Engineer
• Impeccable punctuality (schedules are flexible but being in time for meetings is crucial)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience (Master’s degree is a bonus).
• Expertise in React Native for mobile app development.
• Experience with PHP for back-end development.
• Strong knowledge of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with cloud platforms like Digital Ocean, including Droplets and managed databases.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Database management experience with systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with unit and integration testing to ensure code quality.

Nice to have

• Experience with additional front-end and back-end technologies.
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with serverless architectures.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Understanding of security best practices for web and mobile applications.
• Previous experience in healthcare or nutrition-focused companies.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time consultancy, with up to 40 weekly hours during regular business times. We operate under a flexible core hours policy to accommodate various schedules, allowing consultants to perform during their peak productivity times. Additionally, we offer the flexibility to work remotely.
