Job Summary

Oceans Code Experts is looking for talented individuals who are ready to take the next step in their careers. We are currently seeking Senior .NET MAUI Engineer to assist in converting a cross-platform mobile application from Xamarin to .NET MAUI. This role involves working with Xamarin/Xamarin.Forms, .NET MAUI, iOS, and Android technologies, requiring at least 5 years of professional software development experience with a strong background in mobile development.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assess the current cross-platform mobile application and identify areas for migration from Xamarin to .NET MAUI.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Lead to migrate the user interface and mobile functionality.
  • Resolve platform-specific issues and ensure the delivery of stable iOS and Android applications.
  • Build, debug, and maintain applications for both iOS and Android using .NET Maui.
  • Integrate REST APIs and implement authentication and transactional workflows.
  • Follow mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM and Clean Architecture.
  • Ensure mobile application lifecycle, performance, security, and error handling are optimized.
  • Work with Azure Repositories and other Azure-based services as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, XAML, and asynchronous programming.
  • Experience with Xamarin/Xamarin.Forms, .NET MAUI, or both.
  • Proficiency in building, debugging, and maintaining applications for iOS and Android.
  • Knowledge of native mobile tooling and platform-specific integrations.
  • Experience consuming REST APIs and integrating authentication and transactional workflows.
  • Proficient in English with professional working proficiency.
  • Familiarity with mobile architecture patterns and best practices.
  • Experience with Azure Repositories and other Azure-based services.

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience converting a production application from Xamarin to .NET MAUI.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or comparable CI/CD tools.
  • Knowledge of automated testing frameworks for .NET or mobile applications.
  • Experience working on distributed or client-facing engineering teams.
