Hardware Engineer

Job brief

Develop, design, and test computer hardware components for computer and electrical systems in the company. Other duties may include designing and testing computer hardware components, analyzing test data, eliminating errors, modifying existing hardware, and designing hardware for other electrical devices.

Responsibilities

·Designing and building hardware

·Recommending new hardware designs

·Performing tests of new hardware and software

·Troubleshooting and debugging performance issues

·Working with vendors and hardware suppliers to implement new designs

·Supporting the hardware engineering team

·Providing technical support for hardware issues

·Following industry-standard processes and procedures

·Collaborating with other engineers

Requirements

·Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field

·Minimum of X years of experience in hardware engineering

·Familiarity with a wide range of hardware devices

·Strong understanding of embedded software development

·Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·Strong problem-solving skills

·Strong multitasking skills

·Ability to work well in a team environment

·Strong analytical skills

·Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
