Environmental/Energy Attorney

 Job Description:

We are working with a full-service firm with locations in New England, seeking a candidate with a minimum of four years of experience as an Environmental Attorney to join their Bridgeport, CT or Hartford, CT office. The position will be filled at the Senior Associate level, but for the right candidate, the firm may consider a Counsel or Partner level position.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of solid environmental law experience. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work directly with a Chambers ranked partner in the areas of energy, environmental, and energy regulatory law. Candidates should have experience working on the development of energy projects, assisting clients with complying with environmental regulatory requirements and the development of projects on contaminated properties; representing developers, municipalities and utilities in proceedings before the CT Public Utilities Regulatory Authority and the CT Siting Council; representing parties in connection with cable franchise renewals; financing power projects and representing parties in connection with telecommunications facilities; and representing clients before state and federal environmental agencies. Experience representing individuals and municipalities in all areas of environmental, energy, and regulatory law is a plus. CT Bar admission required.
