Junior to Mid-Level Structured Finance Attorney (CLO Focus)

We are working with a leading global law firm seeking a junior to mid-level associate to join its Structured Finance / Private Credit practice in New York. This is an outstanding opportunity to work with a highly regarded team advising on sophisticated credit products, including CLOs, private credit facilities, and syndicated lending transactions.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the design, structuring, and execution of CLOs and other structured credit products. This role offers significant responsibility and the opportunity to work closely with experienced practitioners on complex, market-leading transactions. Key responsibilities include: structuring, drafting and negotiating CLOs, private credit facilities, syndicated loan agreements, and credit insurance arrangements; supporting and leading aspects of structure finance transactions from inception through closing; collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including capital markets, investment, and risk teams; advising on regulatory considerations impacting structured finance transactions in U.S. and cross-border contexts; assisting in product development for new and evolving credit structures; and monitoring legal and market developments affecting structured finance and credit products.

Candidates must have at least two years of relevant structured finance experience, including experience with CLOs, private credit, direct lending, and/or syndicated loans, ideally from a top-tier law firm; strong drafting, negotiation, and transaction management skills; and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Admission to the NY Bar is required. Graduation from law school and at least two years of practice experience as an attorney is required.
